Dip is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Columbia University, and an Associate Research Scientist at the Initiative for Computational Catalysis at the Flatiron Institute.

Dip obtained his S.B. degree in chemistry and physics from MIT, and received his PhD in chemistry from UC Berkeley. Dip was subsequently a Stanford Science Fellow, before starting in his current role.
